Abstract
Audit function, both financial and quality is known to be an effective management tool in both business and industry. However, the practitioners of library and information centres have not taken the quality audit function very seriously. This paper tries to highlight the importance of quality audits in libraries/informations centres to maintain and improve thc quality of their service.
